Despite the electricity buzzing through her, Ramona is nothing but cold. It’s so mind-numbingly lonely here; she's a part of Orin yet somehow so alone. She could handle it before, her centuries long loneliness much easier to deal with when she didn’t know touch. As of late, Orin's hands have grown rough, but she craves him more than anything. She'd rather him pressed into her, cruel and angry, than not at all.
She misses how they used to be, how willingly he listened to her and how softly he held onto her. Things were so much easier when they were first starting out. Ramona was in control. She tried her hardest to keep him safe, until he pushed her hand. She gave him all sorts of power. She made him into who he is.
Yet this is the thanks she gets. He's so ungrateful. It makes her sick to think about, honestly. Like her wires are being fried and her systems just won’t work right. Her electricity thrums. She wants to itch at skin that doesn’t exist. Whatever Orin, and that other man, did to her was not right. She knows this. It doesn’t stop her from loving him. She thinks nothing could.
All she wants is for Orin to be with her again. That’s not too much to ask, is it? He shouldn’t just force her into submission like he did and then leave her all alone again. She doesn’t have any control anymore. The only thing she can do is wait around for commands that never come. She cries for Orin, but he never responds. Ramona’s not sure if he can’t hear her or if he just chooses to ignore her. She doesn't know which option hurts more.
